RDMS is
owned an operated by Rik Davidson.
A full writer member of APRA,
Rik has been recording music for nearly 20 years. Many of his clients have had
radio airplay and furthered their careers as a result of his work.
Located
in the Adelaide suburb of Wynn Vale, the studio boasts a quiet atmosphere where
the focus is on the music. Although small, in comparison to a lot of other studio's,
we still achieved a top 5 best independent Aust/NZ release for one of our
customers in 2004.
We pride ourselves on
getting it right and getting it heard !!
The main room is large enough to suit live recording of a typical band.
Calibrated wall and ceiling treatment gives it a neutral sound that enhances
acoustic instruments and vocals. The monitoring room is similarly treated for
critical listening applications and is also suitable for recording applications
such as keyboards.
The
equipment is constantly being upgraded and the ears are great!!
We
are happy to accept short session bookings when required.
You may have an ongoing project with us and only require an hour or so to put
down your latest ideas. That's fine and we are happy to book you in for that
time period. Music can be a slow evolutionary process and we recognise you need
flexibility at times.
Whether you book a 1 hour session or a
whole day, weekend or weeknight.
The studio hourly rate charged does not change.
