Recording Studio is owned and operated by Rik Davidson.
With over 20 years of recording experience he has a reputation for being
obsessive
about his work and "getting it right". A full writer member of APRA,
he knows
what it takes to sell a song and get it heard.
You want to sound
your best in a recording studio that cares about how you sound.
Why would you
be happy with a dull, lifeless recording that was created with a
production line
mentality?
The studio's best piece of
equipment is Rik's ears.. Years of Recording and Mastering
music give him the
advantage over many other Adelaide recording studio's.

We record digitally at very high resolution to preserve every detail of your
sound
using high quality 24bit converters connected fibre optically to our mixing
platforms.
Depending on your style and requirements we can mix using fully
automated faders
on a 32 channel digital desk or within a PC environment.
When we quote for
a job we tell you how much time you SHOULD be spending to
achieve your required results. We charge a fixed rate for weekends and evenings
and
our quotes are based on years of experience with bands
of every type. So if you do
find a better price, check to see how much time you
are being allocated and what the
charges are for additional time.
Current Studio Rate is
$50 per hour.
Members receive a
10%
discount
We can negotiate an hourly rate for recording projects that have a total of
more
than 20 hours studio time. Typically this would be albums and quality E.P's.

just let us know. We may not be the right studio for you, and face to face is
sometimes the best way to find out. All recording studio's have their own sound
and working environment.
RDMS is a small studio that focuses on using it's intimate environment to give
you world class recordings. We don't rush things to get the next customer in,
every recording is our reputation on public display.
So were not offended if you decide to record somewhere else.
We may even be able to point you to a studio that better suits your needs and
budget.
